Welcome to Neurowiki.
Dedicated 365R student

This is intended as a place for BIO365 students to post lecture notes, links, and other material that may help with the course content. This is in addition to the course website, which is maintained by the instructors. Students have found links to similar courses at Universities such as Stanford and Washington that offer a different way to explain some of the more difficult concepts. Some students have posted notes.

In addition to the website and the wiki, there is a course blog. The neuroblog is a place for students to post questions or comments and even suggest nifty links to other sites and articles that are related to the course content, but likely outside of the scope of the course. Neurobiology is endlessly fascinating and new stories and discoveries are published daily. The blog is meant to be a more casual forum for cool stuff, whereas this wiki is intended as a study resource.

To post to this wiki, students must login with a password that will be announced in class. You can create pages and edit others, but please be kind– this is intended to help folks. There is plenty of room for your lecture notes, for scanned drawings from study groups, MP3 recording of tough lectures, and anything germane that you might want to add. If you are a technophobe but have something to share, send it to me and I will add it to the wiki.

Below are some some general starter pages that users can edit to add content. In general, it is a simple matter of cutting and pasting text, but certainly more complex things can be done. We may come in and clean up some pages, if there are problems. However, this is meant to be a free forum.
